We are very excited to share our latest discovery with those who seek a travel experience filled with adventures, opportunities to gain first hand, in depth knowledge of a people, their culture and customs, all set in an environment of extraordinary natural beauty. The northwest region of Argentina has had very little tourism promotion and yet this area is rich with prehistoric sites, breathtaking geology, and a diverse population of over twenty different indigenous tribes, (each with their own language), plus beautifully crafted woven and pottery goods and Spanish Colonial era architecture. Buenos Aires will be our gateway to begin this journey.

Depart Buenos Aires Tuesday February 11th at 12 Noon and arrive in Salta at 2:15 PM and transfer to the Inn of Chicoana
3 nights at The Inn of Chicoana an intimate 9 room, 19th Century Spanish Colonial Inn located in pristine northwest Argentina, the gateway to undiscovered natural beauty, ancient archeological sites, folk culture and the magnificent Andes, 2 nights on touring circuit.

Sunday February 16th transfer from Chicoana to Salta and depart Salta to Buenos Aires at 3:10PM. Arrive in Buenos Aires at 5:08 PM. Farewell dinner in Buenos Aires. After dinner transfer will continue to International Airport. Depart Buenos Aires at 10:15 PM via Washington Dulles and arrive in San Francisco Monday February 18th ( Presidents Day Holiday), at 12:01 PM
